This design was developed during the Comunication Design 1 Course in my Masters Degree. Split into groups, each had to pick a probable future from a list of possible ones. My group and I pictured a future, in 20250, where personal data is the new currency (as it already is). This data is collected into a card and used to have discounts: give me your location and you'll get 30% off this item! The output was a 16-page, A3 speculative magazine full of infographics about this very likely-to-happen economic system. The data used in the graphs is based on projections of current statistics. To give it an extra layer of realism, the fake articles were interrupted by futuristic ads, to encourage the reader to sell his data.
