In October my roomates and I set out to create a series of film club showings on the topic "How we perceive the other". So we struck a deal with Centro Culturale Candiani in Mestre to lend us a theatre and three movies for three nights. When designing the poster for the events, manicules and celluloid strips weere the first thing which came to mind, but something felt off about them. So I thought two manicules could make a finger frame. To further empahasize the movie feel, I used typography like a blockbuster movie would: tall skinny type at two body sizes.
