In November a party was held at my student dorm and I was tasked with hand-drawing a poster. I wanted the lettering to look like the building, so I thought that the mark left by the parallel pen could act as a window in perspective. I laid a grid behind the paper and followed it multiple times until I achieved a satisfying shape. My roommates did recognize the building.
